This page explains what our website collects, who it is shared with, and how to opt out. That Game Show Place, 38547 US Highway 19, Palm Harbor, Florida 34684. Questions: call or text 727-626-4936 or email Info@ThatGameShowPlace.com.
What you send us
When you use our Contact form or the Game Show Masters application, we receive what you type: usually your name, phone number, email address and message, and for Game Show Masters what you tell us about you and your teammate and any social media accounts you list. When the form sends from our page, it also tells us how you found our site (for example a Google ad, a Facebook or Instagram link, a search, or another website, plus any ad campaign or keyword) and the first page you opened. If it can’t send, it offers to open your own email app instead, and then we get only what is in that email. Your message reaches us by email, and we use it to answer you, plan your visit and choose Game Show Masters teams.
Bookings
Booking and payment happen in Bookeo, the booking calendar on our Book Now page. The calendar loads from Bookeo when you open that page, so Bookeo receives your visit details even if you don’t book. What you enter there goes to Bookeo and to us, and Bookeo handles it under its own privacy policy.
Running the site
Like any website, our host receives your IP address and browser details when you open a page, to deliver it and keep the site working. Messages sent from our forms may pass through an email delivery service on their way to our inbox.
Advertising with Google and Meta
We advertise on Google and on Facebook and Instagram (Meta). Our site uses Google’s ad tag and Meta’s pixel so we can see which ads bring people in, and so our ads can be shown to people who have visited our site.
- Third parties, including Google and Meta, use cookies, web beacons (pixels) and similar storage technology to collect information from our site and elsewhere on the internet. From our site this includes the pages you view, your IP address, browser and device details, how long you stay and how far you scroll, and actions like tapping Book Now, starting a booking in the calendar, tapping Call, Text or Email, clicking a link to another site, or sending a form.
- They use it to measure ads and to target and show ads, including showing our ads to you on other sites and apps across the internet based on your past visits to our site.
- When you send a form, Google’s tag and Meta’s pixel may also send them a scrambled (hashed) copy of details you entered, such as your email address, phone number or name. They use it to match your visit to an account on their service, to measure and target ads.
How to opt out
- Google: turn off personalized ads in Google’s Ads Settings, adssettings.google.com.
- Meta: change your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
- Many advertising companies at once: aboutads.info/choices in the US, or youronlinechoices.eu in Europe.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings.
Our site does not change what it does when a browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal.
Kept in your browser
Our site remembers a few things in your own browser: whether the intro already played, whether you turned the sound off, whether this visit has already been counted as an engaged visit for our ads, whether an old copy of our previous website was cleared out, and how you found our site, so a form you send can include it. Our site never sends these anywhere, except the “how you found us” line inside a form you choose to send. Google’s tag and Meta’s pixel also keep their own cookies in your browser, as described above.
Children
Our website is meant for adults planning a visit. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Other sites
Our pages link to other sites, like our swag store, our YouTube channel and social media pages, and news coverage. Their own privacy policies apply there.
Changes
When we change this page, we update the date at the top.
